Premier League weekend tips: Saints can add to United's woes

There's plenty of action to take in this weekend in the Premier League, with connotations at both top and bottom of the standings.
Manchester United v Southampton
Saturday 12 February, 12.30pm, BT Sport
Manchester United just cannot seem to shake off the inconsistency which has dogged them all season.
They were excellent in the first half against Burnley last time out, but a failure to maintain their level of performance across the whole 90 minutes meant the Red Devils dropped two points at Turf Moor.
Southampton were excellent in their 3-2 victory over Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday. The Saints will arrive at Old Trafford as one of the most in-form teams in the Premier League, having taken 11 points from their last six matches.
Southampton recently held Manchester City to a draw and they could do the same against their crosstown rivals on Saturday.
Tip: Draw at 4.4
Everton v Leeds United
Saturday 12 February, 3pm
If Everton were not already in a relegation battle, they definitely are now. A 3-1 defeat by Newcastle United on Tuesday leaves them just two points above the bottom three going into the weekend. The Toffees have now lost four in a row in the Premier League and are without a clean sheet since November 7.
Leeds were involved in a six-goal thriller against Aston Villa in midweek, maintaining their reputation as the division’s entertainers.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side will go on the attack against Everton and we could be treated to a high-scoring encounter.
Tip: Over 3.5 goals at 2.66
Norwich City v Manchester City
Saturday 12 February, 5.30pm, Sky Sports
Manchester City are closing in on another Premier League title and this should be another comfortable assignment for the champions.
Pep Guardiola’s side are looking pretty unstoppable right now, having taken 40 points from the last 42 available.
Norwich have experienced an upturn of late, and a four-match unbeaten run has given their fans hope that the club can still avoid demotion.
Yet the Canaries have the worst attacking and defensive records in the league. Manchester City should ease to victory in Saturday’s late kick-off.
Tip: Manchester City -2.5 handicap at 2.22
Burnley v Liverpool
Sunday 13 February, 2pm
Liverpool are doing all they can to keep the heat on Manchester City, and while a second title triumph in three years is unlikely, Jurgen Klopp’s side are tightening their grip on second place.
Turf Moor has traditionally been in a tough place to go, but Burnley have still only won one match - home or away - this season.
Sean Dyche’s men may have drawn their last three Premier League games, but they failed to score in two of those and could draw another blank against the Reds.
Tip: Liverpool to win to nil at 2.08
Tottenham v Wolves
Sunday 13 February, 2pm
Antonio Conte is always animated on the touchline, and his team put the Italian through every possible emotion in their 3-2 loss to Southampton on Wednesday.
That was a match which illustrated how far Spurs have fallen, with their defensive lapses particularly concerning.
A rare bright spot was the performance of Son Heung-min, who scored his ninth goal in 18 league appearances this term.
That is an excellent record for a player who has become more decisive in the final third in the last couple of campaigns.
Back the South Korean to find the net again this weekend.
Tip: Son Heung-min to score anytime at 2.66
