Premier League: Watford can edge away from drop zone

Watford and Norwich meet in a Friday night game that is very much the proverbial basement battle.
Victory for the Hornets would see them move four points clear of the drop zone while if Norwich win, they would leapfrog their opponents, and climb out of the bottom three.
A draw would best suit Newcastle and Burnley, and the Clarets will have five games in hand on the Canaries following the game.
Hornets seek to draw away from drop zone
You have to go back to 20 November for the Hornets' last win when they took Manchester United apart in a 4-1 victory.
A run of six straight defeats was halted by a 1-1 draw with fellow strugglers Newcastle last time out courtesy of an 87th-minute equaliser by Joao Pedro.
Their midweek game at Burnley was postponed which could mean some fresh legs and Claudio Ranieri’s side are at 2.14 for the win.
Watford haven’t scored twice in a game since 28 November but they are at 10 to win 2-0 and 8.5 to win 2-1.
Watford manager Claudio Ranieri will be trying to guide his side to their first win since beating Man United 4-1 last year
Dennis on target
Emmanuel Dennis has been a real glimmer of light for the Hornets and has scored eight in 18 appearances to sit joint fourth with Arsenal’s Emile Smith Rowe in the Premier League scoring charts.
The 24-year-old scored in Watford’s 3-1 win at Carrow Road in September, and he's 7 to be first goalscorer and 13 to score two or more.
Joao Pedro has now scored two in as many games and is at 3.5 to score at any time.
Norwich look to halt winless run against hosts
The Canaries have lost their last five encounters with the Hornets with their last win coming in May 2016 courtesy of a 4-2 win.
However, they are within sight of safety thanks to last weekend’s victory over a woeful Everton side.
That was their first success in eight games, during which time they had claimed just two points.
Dean Smith’s side have claimed five points on the road and a draw is at 3.6.
Canaries reliant on Pukki
Norwich have scored just 10 goals all season and last weekend’s 2-1 win over the Toffees was only the third time they had scored more than once in a game.
Teemu Pukki has scored half his team’s goals with five and he is at 5.5 to be either first or last goalscorer. Adam Idah scored what proved to be the winner against Everton and he is at 8 to be first or last scorer.
Krul blow for Canaries
Goalkeeper Tim Krul has been ruled out with a shoulder injury with Angus Gunn set to deputise.
The Canaries have conceded 45 goals – the most in the division – and have a goal difference of -35, and are at 4.2 to keep a clean sheet.
