Premier League tips: Newcastle look to continue run at Brentford

We could be in store for another thrilling weekend of Premier League action, with key games at the top and the bottom of the division. Here’s our selection of the best bets.
Leeds United vs Tottenham Hotspur
Saturday 26 February, 12.30pm, BT Sport 1
Following their thrilling victory over Manchester City last weekend, Tottenham proceeded to lose to Burnley on Wednesday. Antonio Conte cast doubt on his future after the game, with Spurs having now lost four of their last five matches.
Leeds are in even bigger trouble. A 6-0 thrashing by Liverpool in midweek has left them with the second-worst goal difference in the division. Only three points separate the Whites from the relegation zone.
Matches involving Leeds invariably feature plenty of goalmouth action and this is unlikely to be any different.
Recommended Bet: Over 1.5 goals in the first half @ 2.46
Manchester United v Watford
Saturday 26 February, 3pm
Their performances have not always been spectacular, but Manchester United are on a 10-match unbeaten run in all competitions. Ralf Rangnick is beginning to get his ideas across, and the Red Devils currently occupy the final Champions League qualification spot.
They will fancy their chances of emerging triumphant when Watford come to town on Saturday. The Hornets were thrashed 4-1 by Crystal Palace last time out and are mired in relegation trouble.
Watford could get on the scoresheet, though. They possess plenty of firepower via the likes of Emmanuel Dennis, Ismaila Sarr and Josh King, while United have kept just one clean sheet in their last five matches.
Recommended Bet: Manchester United to win and both teams to score @ 2.98

Ralf Rangnick's Man United will be looking for three points against Watford, and take revenge for a 4-1 drubbing earlier in the campaign
Brentford v Newcastle United
Saturday 26 February, 3pm
Brentford and Newcastle are in contrasting form. The Bees have taken just one point from the last 21 available, and in danger of being sucked into the relegation battle. The Magpies are unbeaten in six games and are now out of the bottom three.
Without the injured Ivan Toney, who is a doubt, Brentford look toothless. Follow the formbook and back Eddie Howe’s side in this one.
Recommended Bet: Newcastle to win @ 3.05
Crystal Palace v Burnley
Saturday 26 February, 3pm
Burnley have lift-off. Back-to-back wins over Brighton & Hove Albion and Tottenham have seen the Clarets move to within two points of safety.
Their recent revival has been built on a solid backline, with four clean sheets in their last six matches – despite facing Arsenal, Manchester United, Liverpool and Spurs in that time.
Palace scored four times against Watford, but have often struggled to turn possession into chances this season. Burnley could frustrate them at Selhurst Park.
Recommended Bet: Under 2.5 goals @ 1.72
Everton v Manchester City
Saturday 26 February, 5.30pm, Sky Sports Main Event
Manchester City’s lead at the top of the table has been cut to three points after Liverpool demolished Leeds on Wednesday. Pep Guardiola’s side can strengthen their buffer this weekend as the Reds are not in Premier League action.
Riyad Mahrez will be central to their efforts at Goodison Park. The Algerian is in fantastic form, having scored in nine of his last 10 appearances for City. Back Mahrez to break the deadlock at Goodison Park.
Recommended Bet: Riyad Mahrez to score first @ 5.1
Recommended bets
Over 1.5 first half goals Leeds v Tottenham @ 2.46
Manchester United and BTTS @ 2.98
Newcastle @ 3.05
Under 2.5 goals Palace/Burnley @ 1.72
Riyad Mahrez to score first in Everton vs Manchester City @ 5.1
