There’s another jam-packed weekend of football ahead in the EFL, with Saturday’s Championship clash between Blackburn Rovers and QPR just one of the highlights.

Blackburn Rovers v QPR

Saturday 26 February, 12.30pm, Sky Sports Football

The battle for promotion in the Championship continues in the early kick-off on Saturday as QPR take on a Blackburn side that have lost their way in recent weeks. Rovers were flying at the back end of 2021, winning all of their last six league games of the year. However, the turn of the year has not been kind for Tony Mowbray’s side.

Two wins in their nine league games in 2022, and currently on a five game winless run, Rovers have dropped down to fifth place in the standings and run the risk of free-falling down the table. QPR have also stuttered in recent weeks, but the third-placed R’s got back to winning ways last time out against Blackpool, and might well see off another Lancastrian opponent this weekend.

Recommended Bet: QPR to win @ 3.7

Cardiff City v Fulham

Saturday 26 February, 3pm

Fulham’s sprint towards promotion back to the Premier League looks set to continue this weekend when they play hosts to strugglers Cardiff. The Cottagers bagged another three points in midweek with a 2-1 win over Peterborough, while the Bluebirds suffered a late 2-1 defeat at the hands of Huddersfield.

In Aleksandar Mitrovic Fulham have the best striker in the league, with the Serbian forward setting a new Championship goalscoring record following his brace against Peterborough. With 33 goals already this season, expect Mitrovic to cause Cardiff serious problems on Saturday, and for Fulham to come back across the Welsh border with the three points.

Recommended Bet: Fulham and over 2.5 goals @ 2.46

Can Blackburn's Ben Brereton-Diaz help his side return to form against QPR in Saturday's lunchtime kick-off?

Wigan Athletic v Sunderland

Saturday 26 February, 3pm

There’s another battle at the top end of League One to look forward to this weekend as second-placed Wigan host sixth-placed Sunderland at the DW Stadium. The Black Cats are in the midst of a real slump with just one win in their last 10 league games, while Wigan are on the up on the back of a four-match unbeaten run (3W,1D).

With eight goals in their last four games, the Latics are in free-scoring form with Callum Lang and Will Keane enjoying strong seasons. Wigan will be tough to top on home soil and they should be able to bag another three points to help them pull clear in their hunt for automatic promotion.

Recommended Bet: Wigan to win @ 2.1

Bradford City v Mansfield Town

Saturday 26 February, 3pm

Bradford start a new era with manager Mark Hughes at the helm when they host Mansfield at Valley Parade. With one win in their last seven League Two games, the Bantams have turned to experienced manager Hughes to turn their fortunes around.

While their recent form has been poor, Bradford’s record against Mansfield is positive. Bradford have won all of their last three meetings with Mansfield and with the boost of Hughes’ arrival, the West Yorkshire outfit might be able to edge another victory over the Stags this weekend.

Recommended Bet: Bradford to win @ 2.64

Recommended Bets:

QPR @ 3.7

Fulham and over 2.5 goals @ 2.46

Wigan @ 2.1

Bradford @ 2.64
