England return to action on Tuesday, but this preview focuses on some of the other Nations League games taking place.

Germany vs Italy

7.45pm, Premier Sports 1

With just three points separating top from bottom, there is still everything to play for in Group A3. Italy are the leaders at the midway stage having won one and drawn two of their matches to date, but a trip to Germany represents arguably their toughest test of the campaign.

Roberto Mancini’s side have shown plenty of resilience up to now and we could see them avoid defeat again on matchday four. Germany have drawn all three matches up to now and they may fall short here too.

Recommended bet: Draw or Italy @ 2.18

Netherlands vs Wales

7.45pm, Box Nation

Wales need to get more points on the board if they are to avoid relegation to League B, with just one draw to show for their three outings so far. The Netherlands, meanwhile, are continuing their revival under Louis van Gaal and will hope to consolidate their position at the top of Group A4 with another victory on Tuesday.

Wales have scored in each of their games so far and will fancy their chances of doing so again here, but the Dutch will probably prove too strong overall.

Recommended bet: Netherlands and both teams to score @ 3.2

Goals expected as Belgium face Poland.

Poland vs Belgium

7.45pm, Premier Extra

A 2-2 draw with the Netherlands at the weekend means Poland have now scored in 21 consecutive matches. The problem has been at the other end of the field, with just one clean sheet in their last seven matches.

Belgium are similarly much better going forward than they are at the back. They thrashed Poland 6-1 in the reverse fixture and we could see both teams find the net again here.

Recommended bet: Both teams to score @ 1.9

Turkey vs Lithuania

7.45pm, Premier Extra

Group C1 has, as expected, been a breeze for Turkey: they have maximum points at the midway stage of the campaign, having scored 12 goals and conceding none.

A 6-0 thrashing of Lithuania was the highlight, and we can expect another one-sided encounter when they two teams lock horns again on Tuesday. Valdas Ivanauskas’s side have lost all three of their games to date and look set to finish bottom of the group.

Recommended bet: Turkey to win and over 3.5 goals @ 1.82

Ukraine vs Republic of Ireland

7.45, Premier Sports 2

Ukraine’s response to losing their World Cup qualification play-off final to Wales has been excellent, with two wins from two since that loss in Cardiff. They sit top of Group B1 despite having played one fewer game than some of their rivals.

Ukraine are yet to concede a goal, and although Ireland finally found their shooting boots in a 3-0 win against Scotland on Saturday, they remain unconvincing in attack. Ukraine can capitalise on matchday four.

Recommended bet: Ukraine to win to nil @ 2.74

Recommended bets

Italy or draw @ 2.18

Netherlands & BTTS @ 3.2

Poland-Belgium BTTS @ 1.9

Turkey & over 3.5 @ 1.82

Ukraine to nil @ 2.74
