Sunday brings nine more Nations League matches – and we have previewed the pick of the games here.
Northern Ireland vs Cyprus
After drawing blanks against Greece and Cyprus, Northern Ireland finally broke their duck by scoring twice against Kosovo on matchday three. The problem was they conceded three goals to Alain Giresse’s men and are thus stuck on one point in Group C2.
This will surely be the game in which Northern Ireland record their first win of the campaign. They will probably do it by going back to basics against a Cyprus team without a goal to its name so far.
Recommended bet: Northern Ireland to win to nil @ 2.32
Greece vs Kosovo
Greece are in pole position to win promotion from Group C2, and they are doing it in the most Greek fashion possible. None of their opponents have managed to find the net against Gus Poyet’s side so far, with two of their three victories coming by a goal to nil.
With that in mind, the price on a win over Kosovo and under 2.5 goals looks extremely attractive.
Recommended bet: Greece to win and under 2.5 goals @ 3.5
Norway vs Sweden
Norway beat Sweden 2-1 in the first meeting between these sides, but there is reason to believe at least one of the Nordic nations will keep a clean sheet on Sunday.
Sweden will reason that their best chance of victory in Oslo is by keeping things tight at the back. It is certainly possible to envisage them shutting out a Norway side that drew a blank at home to Slovenia on matchday three.
A defence-first mindset could inhibit Sweden as an attacking force, though, so Norway might not have to work too hard to register a third clean sheet in four games.
Recommended bet: Both teams to score/No @ 1.93
Slovenia vs Serbia
Serbia suffered a 1-0 home defeat by Norway on matchday one, but their response to that early setback has been excellent. Dragan Stojkovic’s side proceeded to thrash Slovenia 4-1 in their next outing, and even more impressively ran out 1-0 winners in Sweden on Thursday.
Doing the double over Slovenia should not be too difficult: their upcoming opponents have taken just one point from the first nine on offer in Group B4.
Recommended tip: Serbia to win @ 1.96
Switzerland vs Portugal
This has been a miserable campaign for Switzerland so far. A record of three defeats in three games has left them rooted to the foot of the Group A2 table with a four-point deficit to make up in order to avoid relegation.
It will be tricky for the Swiss to clamber out of fourth place unless they can get something from this match. Portugal are playing well, though, and won the reverse fixture 4-0 in Lisbon. The margin of victory will probably not be quite so big here, but back Fernando Santos’s side to triumph again.
Recommended tip: Portugal to win @ 2.06
Recommended bets
Ireland to nil @ 2.32
Greece/under 2.5 @ 3.5
Norway/Sweden BTTS/No @ 1.93
Serbia @ 1.96
Portugal @ 2.06
