Wales, Scotland and Ireland return to action in the Nations League on Saturday – here are our tips for the latest round of fixtures.

Ukraine vs Armenia

2pm, Premier Sports 1

Ukraine made 10 changes to their starting line-up for the game against Ireland on Wednesday, but an under-strength team was still able to emerge victorious.

We could see some of the more established stars return for the visit of Armenia, who lost 2-0 to Scotland in their last encounter. This should be a relatively straightforward afternoon for Ukraine, who are likely to win handsomely.

Recommended bet: Ukraine to score in both halves @ 2

Republic of Ireland vs Scotland

5pm, Premier Sports 1

The misery continued for the Republic of Ireland last time out, as Stephen Kenny’s side went down to Ukraine. It was another flat performance from Ireland, who have now gone 10 competitive home games without a win. Another loss in Dublin this weekend would leave them as the favourites to be relegated from Group B1.

Scotland got the job done against Armenia on matchday two and will be looking for another win here. Steve Clarke would probably be happy to go in at the break on level terms, though, so consider a draw in the first half.

Recommended bet: Draw at half-time @ 1.94

Hungary vs Germany

7.45pm, Premier Sports 2

A late Harry Kane penalty denied Germany all three points against England on Tuesday, leaving Hansi Flick’s side without a win so far in this Nations League campaign. The Mannschaft have played well up to now, though, and a meeting with Hungary gives them an opportunity to get that first victory on the board.

Hungary are never daunted when they have to face the continent’s powerhouses, and we will not see them sink back into their shell here. In the end, however, Germany should prove too strong.

Recommended bet: Germany to win and over 2.5 goals @ 2.18

After helping his country to the World Cup, Gareth Bale will be hoping to lead Wales to victory over Belgium in the Nations League

Netherlands vs Poland

7.45pm, Box Nation

Tuesday was a bad night for Poland, who suffered a 6-1 demolition at the hands of Belgium. They will be keen to give a much better account of themselves against the Netherlands, who have taken control of Group A4 with back-to-back triumphs over Belgium and Wales.

Poland have scored in each of their last 20 matches and have the attacking firepower to keep that run going against Louis van Gaal’s men on Saturday.

Recommended bet: Both teams to score @ 1.96

Wales vs Belgium

7.45pm, Premier Sports 1

After a 4-1 thrashing by the Netherlands on matchday one, Belgium were back to their best in the aforementioned evisceration of Poland. Roberto Martinez will hope to see more of the same against Wales this weekend.

Another 6-1 victory is unlikely, particularly as Wales have only lost one of their last 20 home matches. That defeat was by the Netherlands earlier this week, though, and Belgium’s superior quality should see them edge out Rob Page’s charges.

Recommended bet: Belgium to win @ 1.95

Recommended bets

Ukraine score both halves @ 2

Ireland/Scotland draw HT @ 1.94

Germany/over 2.5 @ 2.18

Netherlands/Poland BTTS @ 1.96

Belgium @ 1.95
