NFL Playoffs Saturday: Titans to put Bengals to the sword

After some one-sided match-ups in the wild card round of the NFL playoffs, things look set to be much tighter in Saturday night’s Divisional games.
Cincinnati enjoyed last weekend, but it could be the end of the road for the Bengals as they travel to a fresh and powerful Tennessee Titans side, while the San Francisco 49ers also face a tough test at the Green Bay Packers.
Cincinnati Bengals (10-7) @ Tennessee Titans (12-5)
Saturday 9.30 PM (UK time)
Match Odds: Bengals 2.68 | Titans 1.58
Cincinnati would have been a fun place to be last weekend as the Bengals secured a first playoff win since 1992, thanks to a 26-19 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders at Paul Brown Stadium.
Despite scoring only six points in the second-half, the Bengals managed to keep their composure to land that elusive post-season success.
However, it will be another step up in class of opposition as quarterback Joe Burrow and the Bengals make the trip to Nissan Stadium in Nashville this weekend.
The Titans enjoyed a bye through to the second round of the playoffs after finishing top of the AFC Conference.
While the Bengals have shown real signs of progress this season, they come up against a Titans side that look set to welcome back one of the best running-backs in the NFL in Derrick Henry.
Henry ranked top for rushing yards (937yds) and rushing touchdowns (10) this season and looks to have recovered from a fractured foot in time to take on the Bengals.
Tennessee will be hoping Henry can pick up where he left off, having been out of action since November but the noise coming out of the Titans' camp has been positive regarding his fitness.
With home advantage and with Henry likely to be back in their ranks, the fresh Titans should have enough to overcome the Bengals, who have never won a game on the road in the playoffs in seven attempts.
Tip: Titans with -3.5 pts handicap at 2
San Francisco 49ers (10-7) @ Green Bay Packers (13-4)
Sunday 1:15 AM (UK time)
Match Odds: 49ers 3.25 | Packers 1.43
It looks set to be another chilly one at Lambeau Field as the Green Bay Packers welcome the San Francisco 49ers to Wisconsin.
Sub-zero temperatures await the 49ers on their arrival from sunny California, as they take on a Packers side who also had the weekend off in the wild card round.
This will be a third-straight road game for San Francisco in clashes they have had to win to keep their season alive.
One wonders if this encounter at Lambeau Field might be a bridge too far, having got out of jail against the Dallas Cowboys last weekend.
Veteran Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has a wealth of experience of playoff football and the 38-year-old playmaker has the passing game to guide Green Bay through to the NFC Championship Game.
Tip: Packers with -6.0 pts handicap at 1.9
