The Kansas City Chiefs are looking to book their place in the Super Bowl for the third season in a row, with only the Cincinnati Bengals left standing in their way in the AFC Championship Game.
While a high-scoring encounter is expected at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday, the Chiefs look like they have the quality and the experience to reach Super Bowl LVI in Los Angeles.
Mahomes has been there and got the T-shirt
Despite being just 26 years old, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is on course to play a third Super Bowl of his career.
Mahomes helped the Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers at Super Bowl LIV, before losing out 31-9 to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last season.
Having experienced both the highs and lows of the showpiece event of the NFL calendar, Mahomes will be determined to not only reach SoFi Stadium but be on the right side of the scoreline on February 13.
First the Texan must guide the Chiefs past the Bengals and the former Texas Tech playmaker is looking in sharp form in the playoffs.
Eight touchdown passes and 782 passing yards in two playoff games has helped Kansas City overcome the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Buffalo Bills in overtime.
With wide receivers Tyreek Hill and Bryon Pringle at his disposal, along with tight end Travis Kelce, Mahomes has all the weapons he needs on offense to overcome the Bengals.
Kansas City are 1.95 with -7.0 pts handicap, while the Chiefs are also up at 43% in our market to go on and win the Super Bowl this season.

Bengals with nothing to lose
The Bengals have been the surprise package of the season so far, in a campaign that will live long in the memory of Cincinnati fans.
A first playoff win in 31 years against the Las Vegas Raiders was followed by a battling display to overcome the Tennessee Titans in Nashville.
Another road trip looks like it might be a bridge too far for the Bengals, who are available at 3.95 to cause an upset and win in Kansas City.
The Bengals will certainly not go down without a fight and quarterback Joe Burrow has the passing game to cause any team problems in the NFL.
With both Mahomes and Burrow expected to sling the football, a high-scoring game might well be on the cards in Missouri this weekend.
These sides played earlier in the regular season with the Bengals winning 34-31 in Cincinnati on January 2.
With that game in mind, the 2.08 for over 56.5 total points in the contest could be the way to go as these sides put it all on the line to face either the 49ers or the LA Rams at Super Bowl LVI.
