We are into the final month of the Premier League season and there is still plenty to play for - football expert Greg Lea previews the mouthwatering top-flight action on Saturday.

Bournemouth v Chelsea

Kick-off: 3pm Saturday

Chelsea’s miserable winless run continued during the week as they went down 3-1 to Arsenal. Frank Lampard has now lost six matches on the spin since becoming the club’s interim manager, but Chelsea’s problems run far deeper than their stop-gap head coach.

Frank Lampard: hasn't had much reason to cheer of late

Given the level of talent within the squad and the money spent to assemble it, this might just be the worst pound-for-pound performance in Premier League history. Chelsea look set to finish in the bottom half and they will be overtaken by Bournemouth if they lose on Saturday. We fancy goals at both ends in this one.

Prediction: Both teams to score @ 1.84

Manchester City v Leeds United

Kick-off: 3pm Saturday

Sam Allardyce is back in the Premier League. Leeds have employed the former Bolton Wanderers, Blackburn Rovers and Sunderland manager on a short-term contract in the hope that he can keep their heads above water. It is a tall order.

Manchester City are in fantastic form right now and have won nine matches on the bounce in the Premier League. Another title is within reach for the reigning champions, who should run out pretty comfortable winners in this one.

Prediction: Manchester City to win to nil @ 1.9

Tottenham Hotspur v Crystal Palace

Kick-off: 3pm Saturday

Tottenham put their fans through the ringer last weekend. Three-nil down to Liverpool within a quarter of an hour, Spurs staged a valiant comeback to level the scores in second-half stoppage time, only to lose 4-3 to an even later goal from the Reds. Their top four chances are now all but over.

Crystal Palace are a team reborn under Roy Hodgson, who has thrown off the shackles and encouraged the Eagles to play bright and attacking football. They will arrive in north London with no fear against a Spurs side low on confidence, though that shouldn’t stop Harry Kane from netting.

Prediction: Harry Kane anytime goalscorer @ 1.99

Wolverhampton Wanderers v Aston Villa

Kick-off: 3pm Saturday

Aston Villa were shut out by a Premier League opponent for the first time in Unai Emery’s tenure last weekend. Manchester United’s clean sheet came in a 1-0 win at Old Trafford which in effect ended Villa’s slim hopes of Champions League football.

Emery’s men remain in the mix for Europa League qualification, though, and they will strive to boost their chances of a top-six finish by beating their West Midlands rivals on Saturday. Wolves lost 6-0 to Brighton and don’t look interested in finishing their campaign in the best light.

Prediction: Aston Villa to win @ 2.48

Liverpool v Brentford

Kick-off: 5.30pm Saturday

Liverpool are still not at the level of recent years, but a run of five consecutive victories in the Premier League means they are currently in their best form of the season. They have not lost at Anfield since the World Cup and will be reasonably confident of another home win this weekend.

Mo Salah: has been in good goalscoring form in recent weeks

Brentford are tricky opponents and Ivan Toney is capable of causing Liverpool’s questionable backline some problems. But that might not be enough to deny the hosts all three points.

Prediction: Liverpool to win and Both teams to score @ 2.74
